There are currently rooms available at Shantideva centre, both double and single rooms are available, with shared bathroom kitchen and lounge.

Costs range from £270—£380 per calendar month, inclusive of bills.

As you would expect the centre is a very peaceful environment with no meat, alcohol, tobacco or television.

working visits

A great way to experience life at the Centre is to come on a working visit. In exchange for 35 hours work, usually spread over five days, you receive:

• Seven days free dormitory accommodation;
• Including three vegetarian meals a day;
• A unique opportunity to meet and work alongside members of Shantideva Centre's community and to find out more about the Buddhist way of life;
• Free attendance at any classes or courses that may be running at the Centre during your stay.

The work you do could be anything: building, gardening, decorating, cooking or cleaning; working in the office or sewing room, — there's always plenty to do! Shantideva Centre is run by volunteers, and whether you are skilled or unskilled, so long as you're enthusiastic your help will make a big contribution to the Centre's work to benefit all living beings.
