These meditation classes on campus are based on The Living Meditation series which provides a comprehensive introduction to meditation and mindfulness, offering guidance at all levels for developing and deepening a meditation practice. Presenting meditations to relax body and mind, find inner peace, achieve mental clarity, and develop a kind and compassionate attitude towards others, these classes will also share advice from the new book How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso which is available as a free ebook. Companion CDs/MP3 downloads are available as meditation aids, at the class or at tharpa.com
Each class consists of two guided meditations and instruction. Classes are self contained so you can drop in any time. There is no physical exercise involved and seating is on chairs. Anyone can practice meditation and everyone is welcome to attend!
