On these day courses we can learn to meditate and deepen our practice of Buddha’s teachings. Spend a day in the relaxing environment of Shantideva Centre and be inspired by the teachings and guided meditations. Meet friends and enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch.

Inner Confidence September 25th, 10:00am—5:00pm

The Buddhist path teaches how we can progress step by step towards true peace and permanent freedom from suffering. Sometimes, however, we can begin to doubt that this goal is really within our reach. On this day course Gen Kelsang Loten will explain how we can sustain our practise confidently and joyfully, feeling that each day is meaningful and bringing us closer to enlightenment.

Inspiring half-day courses and retreats introducing meditation, the mind and building a daily practice. Take the opportunity to gain some experience of meditation and learn how to develop a peaceful mind.
Attend a half-day course to learn how to meditate and attend a day retreat to get some personal experience of settling the mind and enjoying meditation’s benefits.

Facing Impermanence November 13th—14th

Powa Ceremony Teachings and Retreat

We can only live our life fully when we embrace its impermanent nature. On this course we will be exploring the Buddhist meditations on death and learning how to benefit those who have died through transference of conciousness (powa) practice.
The transference of conciousness teachings are also essential advice for preparing for our own death.
