All class teachers are from Shantideva Centre, a Buddhist meditation centre based in Reading.

Find out who Shantideva was…

The resident teacher at the centre is Buddhist nun Kelsang Loten, who has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years and was appointed to Shantideva centre in 2005. Her clear and insightful teachings display her deep understanding and practical experience of the stages of the path to enlightenment.

The centre has been providing meditation classes to the public for over 10 years. Classes are suitable for all individuals whatever their level of interest.

We currently have rooms available and offer working visits.

Shantideva centre is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union founded by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. There are many NKT centres and groups worldwide.
