UK Dharma Celebration 2017
14th-17th April – Easter Bank Holiday Weekend
Letting go of the past and moving towards a happy future
with Kadam Bridget Heyes
at Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre, Derbyshire
The UK Dharma Celebration (UKDC) is a special course on Buddhism and meditation that explains how to apply Buddha’s teachings (Dharma) to modern living. The UKDC is a precious opportunity to study and practise the special presentation of modern Buddhism taught by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union.
Kadam Bridget will give the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva, the Buddha of purification, as well as a series of practical teachings explaining how to use this connection in our busy lives to purify and let go of past mistakes and move forward into a positive future of lasting inner peace and joy.
The Festivals are special courses taught by the Spiritual Director and Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition.
The Festivals include teachings and empowerments from the principal Teacher, reviews and meditations led by senior NKT Teachers, chanted meditations and offering ceremonies, and retreats to consolidate and deepen your understanding and experience.
Open to everyone, these International Festivals are a wonderful opportunity to meet with Buddhist practitioners from all over the world and share experience and understanding with them.
