This year, Kadam Bridget Heyes, our National Spiritual Director will give a series of talks explaining simply how to make our daily life inspiring and meaningful by practising loving kindness in our daily activities, as well as granting the special blessing empowerment of Buddha Green Tara. As well as the blessing empowerment and teachings, the programme includes guided meditations, prayers and plenty of time to enjoy relaxing in the company of a good-hearted community in the beautiful, blessed surroundings of Tara KMC in Etwall, Derbyshire.
Everybody is welcome, and no previous experience is necessary.

In this Free Talk, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong will explain how we can take control of our life by transforming life’s adversities into positive, enriching experiences. She will explain how we can use practical Buddhist wisdom to gain the confidence and strength that frees us from fear.
Gen-la Dekyong is a Kadampa Buddhist nun who is an internationally renowned meditation teacher. She has devoted her life to helping others and has a deep understanding of the problems we face in this modern world. Her teachings show how we can solve these problems by developing the capacity of our mind through meditation and other spiritual practices.
