Shantideva Centre provides meditation classes throughout the Thames Valley. Everyone is welcome to attend these drop in sessions - an ideal starting point for those new to meditation, or an opportunity for those who have some experience to gain a fresh perspective.

Spend a day in the relaxing environment of Shantideva Centre and be inspired by the teachings and guided meditations. Meet friends and enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch.
At this year’s UKDC Kadam Bridget Heyes will grant the blessing empowerment of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion and give teachings on practising compassion and wisdom together. Through receiving these profound blessings and inspiring teachings our inner potential for love, compassion and wisdom will be awakened.

The Buddhist path teaches how we can progress step by step towards true peace and permanent freedom from suffering. Sometimes, however, we can begin to doubt that this goal is really within our reach. On this day course Gen Kelsang Loten will explain how we can sustain our practise confidently and joyfully, feeling that each day is meaningful and bringing us closer to enlightenment.
